Revelwood Europe Managing Director
Revelwood, recipient of Workday’s Solution Provider of the Year – Americas Award for 2023, is continuing its aggressive partnering and growth strategy with Workday by launching operations in Europe. Revelwood has garnered the encouragement and support for this initiative from Workday executives both in Europe and from the corporate parent in the United States.
We are seeking a Managing Director to launch and run the operation, which will initially be based out of UKI and expand into other European regions over the next several years. The right candidate will have experience in the financial software/FP&A space, with demonstrated leadership experience in one or more aspects of business development – with a particular emphasis on sales. The MD role will report directly to the CEO and serve on Revelwood’s Leadership Team.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Revelwood’s CEO to launch the entity/operation in UKI
- Develop a business plan for initial growth of the UKI operation, as well as further European expansion
- Act as primary seller (or co-seller with partners) to prospects in the early months as we build our team
- Work with local Workday partners to help us sell and deliver services during the initial growth phase
- Coordinate with Revelwood U.S. on marketing strategy and leveraging Revelwood’s success in demand generation
- Work with Revelwood’s U.S. professional services leadership to provide services resources, ensure the application of Revelwood’s best practices, and develop a plan for hiring/acquiring a European professional services team
- Develop and execute a hiring plan to acquire the appropriate marketing, sales and business development resources to grow the business
- Work closely with the marketing, sales and partner teams at Workday to develop pipeline, close deals and service clients
- Meet or exceed targets and expectations of the business as developed in conjunction with the CEO and leadership team
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience selling financial software/FP&A solutions in the UKI and/or European market
- Proven leadership and management skills and experience
- Passion for growing a business with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Alignment with Revelwood’s core values
- A network within the FP&A market that can be leveraged to help drive business growth and success
Education
Minimum of a management, finance or accounting undergraduate degree
