Practice Leader – Workday Financial Management

Revelwood, a technology consulting company that offers solutions for the Office of Finance is looking for a Workday Financial Management Practice Leader.
This full-time position is an incredible opportunity to join our services leadership team and work with a fast-growing technology company that has been around for nearly 30 years and is still experiencing major growth.
We are looking for an experienced accounting/financial professional to help create, lead, manage, and grow our Workday Financial Management practice. This player/coach will lead the charge as we create another successful practice. This position is ripe with career growth potential and perfect for someone who is motivated, hungry for success and wants to see the impact of their actions on a daily basis.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Launch and develop our Workday Financial Management practice as part of our overall Professional Services Group (PSG)
- Manage Workday Financials software implementation projects for clients throughout the U.S. in all segments and industries
- Build and nurture team of professionals to aid in efforts
- Work with our sales team in assisting Workday’s pre-sales efforts related to the FINS practice (scoping, level of effort estimating, etc)
- Provide industry, financial/accounting, and/or technology expertise to customers and Revelwood project teams
- Contribute to the development of methodologies, approaches, and models relevant to the practice
- Participate in management of PSG including client project scheduling, employee career development, and recruiting
- Own and manage internal projects such as the development of our training materials
Here’s the fine print of things you must have:
- Workday Financials certification (Workday Platform cert a plus)
- 10+ years experience in accounting and/or financial systems
- Minimum 4 years experience working with Workday Financials (experience with HCM a plus)
- Experience with multiple FINS implementations; preferably as overall Project Lead or certified Engagement Manager
- Deep understanding of Financial Close processes and daily, monthly, and quarterly workflows
- Broad knowledge of Accounting best practices (O2C, P2P, R2R)
- Experienced in leading design sessions and commanding a room
