Deprecation of Legacy TM1 Tools

IBM will be removing the Rich Tier desktop from your TM1 / Planning Analytics environment. Architect, Perspectives, and Performance Modeler will no longer be accessible.

On-premise Customers:

IBM has announced an end-of-supporting date of April 30, 2025, for version 2.0.9. The Rich Tier desktop will not be supported in version 2.1.

Cloud Customers:

The Rich Tier desktop will no longer be accessible beginning November 2024.

Impact of Changes:

  • Converting reports to Planning Analytics for Excel and training users on the new tool.
  • Developing rules and TurboIntegrator scripts using the web interface, which includes new features like code debugging.
  • Administering your database using the web interface with new interfaces for configuration settings and new security definitions.
