Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant – Workday Adaptive Planning

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer requirements and tailor Workday Adaptive Planning solutions to meet their needs.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Translate complex technical and financial concepts into clear, business-oriented value propositions for diverse stakeholders, including CFOs, finance teams, and IT leaders.
- Provide pre-sales support, including responding to RFPs, creating proof-of-concepts, and addressing technical and functional inquiries.
- Partner with implementation teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and advancements in FP&A and ERP solutions to position Workday Adaptive Planning effectively.
- Contribute to the development of sales collateral, including whitepapers, case studies, and demo scripts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, customers, and internal teams to drive successful sales outcomes.
- Lead scoping calls, formulate level of services effort and present proposed solution.
- Report directly to the VP of Sales, Americas.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pre-sales for FP&A or ERP solutions, with a strong preference for experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or similar platforms (e.g., Planful, Anaplan, Pigment, Prophix, Vena).
- Proven track record of delivering impactful product demonstrations and closing deals in a pre-sales capacity.
- Deep understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with prospects and attend industry events.
