Watch this short video from Adam Riskin to learn how quick and easy it is to complete an accrual account reconciliation in BlackLine. Accrual account reconciliations can be very time consuming when done in Excel. BlackLine makes this process much more efficient by using an account reconciliation template.

Viewers will see a demonstration of how to use BlackLine’s account reconciliation template by processing something that needs to be accrued, such as a bonus. Adam shows two methods of adding data (manually and importing it) as well as how to:

• add comments for a preparer, approver or reviewer
• add supporting documents such as Excel spreadsheets and PDFs
• use BlackLine’s unique accrual item section where you enter your accrual schedule details
